So after a brief stay in Dublin, it was time to visit Barcelona.

Actually we stayed outside of Barcelona in the city of Granollers.

A very nice and chilled place to stay. I had the pleasure of staying with my good friend Gr170.

During our visit we got to see a lot of nice walls and pieces in the area.

We soon realized that the area was heavely painted by The Mixed Media Crew...as you can see in the photos below...

We visited a big previously abandoned building, where most of the Mixed Media crew painted.

It was now occupied by workers who liked the artwork on the wall so they decided to keep it.

A shame that i couldn't see the walls properly, but interesting none the less to see...

Recently I got home from a bit of travelling.

First off we went to Dublin for a bit...

Got to see a good bit of new stuff around the city, and of course spent some time with familiar faces.

As always too little time...

Most of them from the Roadworks event, which was part of the Dublin Contempoary 2011...

Some time ago i met up with some of my good friends, who are also the guys behind the Galore event in Valby, Denmark.

Over a few beers we talked about doing an external event at Galore featuring international talent.
The main focus would be styles that you don't normally see in aerosol art in Denmark and i'd be the curator on this...a few beers later we decieded that the idea got better and better, and now here we are!

So Galore was held a few days ago...

Just got back from a good time at the "Roskilde Festival".

Lots of great music and great people!

I was invited by Mohs Exhibit and the festival to do some work at the urban zone...

Just got back from a few days well spent in the countryside of Denmark...

I went to a place called "Nakke Hage", which is a very idyllic and quiet place with lots of nature, animal life, the sea and such...perfect for unwinding...

Dansk Gadekunst Book Release

A few weeks ago a new book on danish streetart & graffiti was released.

The book is named "Dansk Gadekunst" (Danish Streetart) and boosts 440 pages!

It's got a lot of great articles and profiles of some my own personal favorites.

On top of this all the money from the sales goes to the Verdens Børn charity!

Last week was a bit busy for me, a lot of good things went down...

But it's nice to have a bit of a breather now, sit indoors while it's pouring down, zipping a cup of coffee...

For the last period of time, i've been working on my exhibition "Throwing Shapes"

It was nice to finally get the pieces up on the walls of
Mohs Exhibit and open up shop!

Friday was another "f13"...

Basco5, Mormor, Myself and Henrik & Magnus from Helvetikat went to Albertslund to do a wall at the local Library (Albertslund Bibliotek). The idea was to do a collaborative work on a 16 x 3 m wall in the library only using chalk.

None of us had really worked with chalk before, so we were surprised to see how smooth it all went down.

Big up to Magnus and Henrik (Helvetikat) for the concept and inviting me along! The people at Albertslund Bibliotek! My fellow chalkateers and Mette, Mimmi, Maria & Dea for the company!

Later that day also saw the opening of this year's Skateistan. I was ment to paint there after i came back from Albertslund, but unfortunately the weather put a stop to that.

That aside i was very happy to get invited to paint a board for their charity auction.

I got back from Athens recently and finally I have a few minuttes to get this post up.

Athens was absolutely fantastic!

Friendly people, good food and a lot of stuff to see...

...and you can paint in the street without people really minding.

Nice with a bit of sunshine and a few painting sessions.

After my visit to Belfast, I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Dublin.

It was good to meet up with familiar faces and a few new ones.

I had a real good time there and a real bonus was to paint at the old John Player tobacco factory.

It's closed down now, but now mainly functions as warehouses and one night venues.

They even have film shoots there.

It was cool to get a tour there (Thanks John!) and have a look at all these amazing big empty buildings.

Oh if one could only get the permission to paint them all...where to start...

Just got back from a great trip to Belfast & Dublin.

I was invited to paint at the Winter Base event at Ulster Hall.

Quite an amazing place to paint.

Beautiful surroundings & a great atmosphere.

Had a great time painting there, getting a few (too many) beers and meeting a lot of nice people.

paint at Støberiet by Projekt Akademiet.
We each did a few pieces, using only Black & White.
It was a great chance to get sort of back to basics and focus a bit more on detail rather than colour.

Pretty strange to actually get invited to paint there and of course not everyone was happy to get "vandals!" like us to paint inside.
But after a few starting problems, it turned out to be a very nice experience...
...even if we didn't get any pancakes...

I'm currently working on my first real solo exhibition called: "Wither & I".
It's mainly gonna be new work on canvas, a bunch of drawings and a few other goodies..

Summer Sun...

Sun has really been burning down the last few days. For the first time in my life i've been sunburned on my hands because of being on a bike all day... That a side I've been very busy this weekend. I had the pleasure of having some good friends from Dublin swinging by. We got a lot of posters up around town and a few other bits and bobs...Have a look under the photos section.

This was also the weekend where the " Street " exhibition opened. You can have a look below the two installations i did for the show:

In other news, I got a text from one of my friends in Dublin a while ago. He told me that i was on the frontpage of the Irish Tribune Magazine!?!? Seemed a bit odd? Apperently the mistress of Ballydung Manor needed a bit of street cred...

Yes i actually have some news... I really have to be a little better to update this page.

Anyways as mentioned earlier I'm in the process of settling in back here in Denmark.
There's a few new flicks of some collabrations with some Dublin people, in the pictures section.

Also I've been working on some future exhibition work...

First of here's a picture of the canvas I'm submitting for the Cancer Sell charity event.

The event is being organized by Beautifullyurban and you can find out what it's all about here.

I will also be a part of the "Street" exhibition at Touchstones Rochdale in Manchester. The flyer can be viewed
here. I will be doing a large poster installation there and below you can catch a peek of the pile of posters I have on my floor at the moment...

Back Home...

So it's been a while since my last post... I've been a bit busy packing up my stuff and getting ready to head back home. This of course means a long and sad goodbye to Dublin... It's been great living there. This is mainly because of the great people who live there and i owe them my thanks for making the year go past so quickly... Big ups! You know who you are...

Anyways, now that i'm back in Denmark i have a few things coming up that will keep me busy... More on this in a bit...

Fresh off the press, here's a picture of my very first screenprint: Elder.

It's a one colour print on 300 gsm acrylic paper, with the dimensions: 20 x 16 inches.

24 on Dublin's best artists collaborate on one piece. It's 24 feet long, 4 feet high and
nobody has a clue what it will look like! Each artist gets a 2' x 2' piece to work with, following rough guidelines. The 24 pieces are put back together and only then will it be revealed what they've been working on.

So the blog is back after some minor technical problems...But here I am again, just in time for fall. That's right, darkness, rain and cool wheather. Anyways I was painting here in Dublin the other day at a minijam put on by the Kings Of Concrete team. In contrast to the wheather right now, this was a beautiful day. Here's what I got done:

I'm currently a part of a new exhibition at the Common Bar in Manchester called "Do Not Bend". There's a lot of nice posters from what i have seen, but unfortunately I can't make it myself. Big up to the people at common who put up my stuff for me...You can have a look here or even better, drop by the Common bar and have a look for your self.

Kings Of Concrete 2007

So this was the weekend where Kings Of Concrete was held. And what a weekend. It was nice standing outside in the sunshine and painting. There was a lot of different things going on, but I didn't really get the chance to see them as I was painting all day. Off coure the rain broke out after a while, but this didn't really matter, cause everybody was having a good time.
Big up to Scie, Myne, Phatz & Splink for the painting session! And of course to the nice people who organized the event!

So I'm back from Barcelona and allready feel like going back...the wheather here in Dublin doesn't help much either...
Anyways my stay in Barcelona was fantastic! The basic elements of my trip was: Painting all day, drinking sangria and san miguel, eating tapas and meeting some amazing people...Big up to Ripo, Sinboy, Xpone, Pure Evil, Pi, Steve, Sakristan, Flowerguy, Fremantle, Ludzik, Mette and all the other nice people I was lucky enough to meet and hang out with down there...You can see some of the stuff i did there under photos...

Summer Days...

Seems like summer finally arrived! These means hot days, chilled bbq's and loads of good time's! I have a small list of things-to-do during the summer. Here's some of them:

First off, is the fundraiser for Achieve ABA, a school providing treatment for young children with autism. It's looking to be a great night, with a lot of fresh pieces, live painting, music...you name it! It's being held at The George Bernard Shaw (have a look at their myspace) on the 21st of june. After this it's off to Barcelona for the Difusor festival. 3 days of stencil madness. I'm going down there with my man Pi and join him in some stenciling. Have a read about it here.. And finally we have the Kings Of Concrete in Dublin. An event with painting, bmx'ing, skate'ing, dancing and all sorts of 'ing...Have a nice summer.

No Bear...!?!?

Hi everyone...I was supposed to be in the Bear In Mind 3 show in Italy...But thanks to some sloppy postman, that's not going to happen. I never received the bear that was to be customized...This really pisses me off as this is not the first time that the post service has let me down. Have you ever tried that??? Oh well, i'll stop my rambling here, have a look at the Bear In Mind page here. And there are some new pictures from Dublin on my flickr, so hit photos and have a look...
